Reviews and Ratings
My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were spacious for four people but felt stuffy and outdated. The service was top-notch with warm and courteous hospitality, and they even kindly accommodated our dinner request. The location was amazing, right on the beautiful Lake Ashi, perfect for exploring the area, but the dining options were not to my liking as a European.
Staying at this hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were very comfortable, although a bit too warm, and the hotel was quiet, which is nice for a peaceful stay, but it felt a bit empty without many other guests around. The views from the banquet room were excellent, overlooking the lake. On the downside, the rooms with a lake side view faced a road, impacting the overall experience.
The hotel had a picturesque view overlooking the mountains and provided a cozy stay despite the cold weather outside. The rooms were a bit old, including the bathrooms, but the location near Lake Ashi made up for it. The service felt like a home away from home with wonderful elderly staff, though a touch of modernization could enhance the overall experience.
